About heater work
Storage or tankless — which is better for me?
Tankless suits small condos with one bathroom and modest hot-water demand. Storage cylinders win for two-bathroom households or anywhere you want a long shower without sudden temperature swings. We'll do the maths on your actual usage during the quote.
How often does a storage heater need descaling?
In KL's relatively soft water — every 18 to 24 months is plenty. Catchment areas with bore-water supply may need yearly flushing.
Is the existing wiring safe to reuse?
We test the dedicated heater circuit (RCD, MCB rating, earth continuity) before commissioning. If it fails, we don't switch the unit on — we tell you what your electrician needs to do first.
Can you fit a heater I bought online?
Yes, and we keep the receipt path clean so manufacturer warranty stays valid. Just send us the model number first — we'll confirm fit and required wall clearances.
